Even this will pass...

One night when i went to bed with a particularly disturbed mind,i had read a story...a thought of reassurance...a story that i have remembered for a long time ever since. I wish to share that story with the readers of my blog…
'There was an unhappy king in an old empire. he did not know the cause of his unhappiness. he thought for a long while and realized that when he was happy he couldn’t think of being sad...and when he was sad he couldn’t think of being happy… so he was confused. The king told his son who was a teenager,about his problem. the son thought for a while and told his dad that he would help him..that he needed a time of 2 weeks. True to his word the son returned to his father on the 14th day. he clutched a little box in his hand. the son handed the little box to his father who opened it carefully to see a gold ring in it. The ring had an engraved message on it which read ''EVEN THIS WILL PASS''. From then on the king was neither overjoyed at his success nor depressed at his failure.''
The message u can carry home is... everything is transient. Don't worry...after all ''EVEN THIS WILL PASS…''!!

Gear up...

Every time I conquered a goal,
I looked back and smiled,
said “Thank you for the cheers, dear friend
that were on all while”.

You gently smiled,
and silently left the seat,
with a message left in the vacant space,
“gear up…there’s another goal to beat!”
i replied....."I can...I am ready..."!!

Parable of a pencil...

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting it into the box. There are 5 things you need to know, he told the pencil, before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be.

ONE:

You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand.

TWO:

You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil.

THREE:

You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

FOUR:

The most important part of you will always be what's inside.

FIVE:

On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.

Now replacing the place of the pencil with you; always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

ONE:

Life is opportunity!
Every day,
All seem it gray,
Can stimulate new thought.

Chance is not what rules the world
There's purpose everywhere,
It's just for us to recognize
The pearl that's waiting there.

The opportunity for us,
To learn and serve and grow.
The harder that the 'problem' seems
The higher we can go.

What is ours will come to us,
So fear becomes inept.
